Research and Development

As product research and design center of SAILFAR, technical department concludes four divisions, Division of LV Power distribution, Division of Power drives, Division of DC control and protection and Division of Mechanical Design. Every division cooperates and goes all out to finish company tasks. All research members come from civil famous universities, such as Xi'an Jiaotong University, Harbin Industry University and Nanjing University, above 60% talents have master degree, and they draw up a series of objects:
1) Market-oriented innovation

2) Provide strong technical support to customers domestic and abroad

3) Satisfy customers' needs by developing new products for customers locally and globally

4) Training for customers and SAILFAR employees

5) Conduct collaborative research with leading Chinese and Worldwide universities and research institutes to develop new technologies and products

6) Cooperate with the world-class design teams and research centers; make technological reserve for next generation products that will be launched 3-5 years later.

The world-class simulation software such as Ansoft, Cadence, Ansys and Fluent are widely used by the SAILFAR innovators to fulfill their idea for creativity such 3D virtual analysis can not only improve the overall performance of the new products, but also greatly curtail the development time as well as experiment expenses. Name:Phenix Technologies High Current Test Set
Description:This set represents a new era of electrical testing technology. This design is based on time-proven concepts and the power offered by an embedded 32-bit microcomputer. High reliability SCR's have been combined with a phase angle firing system to deliver precisely repeatable current pulses with minimal distortion. The test set incorporates a standard measurement and control interface that is operated with special cards installed in an embedded computer system, under software control. The combination of automated hardware and a highly intelligent monitor/controller provides an extremely versatile test instrument capable of exceptional accuracy. This combination also allows for the manual control or remote computer control of the high current test set.
Name:EMC Test Set
Description:The internal clock frequencies and the growing use of the frequency spectrum above 1GHz for communication, the need to measure and investigate these higher frequencies with receiver accuracy is rapidly increasing. Based on the SCR 3501, the later SCR 3502 has identical features up to 1GHz but extends the operating frequency range through to 2.75GHz. With two pre-selected bands covering the frequency range from 1 to 2.75GHz, the SCR 3502 is ideal for measuring the fundamental output from mobile phones and microwave ovens as well as other spurious emissions. </br> The SCR receivers are equally at home in the field or test laboratory. Weighing only 14 (16)kg with their internal batteries and having a life of 3 ~ 4 hours, the receivers are ideal for field investigation and surveys. With some EMC measurements, such as shielding effectiveness testing, the isolation resulting from an independent power source can be invaluable. </br> In manual mode, the receivers can be configured from the front panel to create semi-automatic tests. The instruments are simple to operate being menu guided and having a key related help function. Powerful firmware allows numerous storage functions for device presetting, measured data, frequency spectrum and tables, limit lines, transducer correction factors and direct data generation.
